I was sent a message by spooniestrong to say 5 things I like about myself :)…
1) I like my smile
2) I like how my body is both masculine and feminine….because I don’t like expressing a specific gender (though I will always identify as female).
3) I like my brown eyes, and how people claim that the tint changes
4) I like my sense of humor
5) I like my shortened name. Mac
I feel like this is a good opportunity to point out that if you notice I’m in mutuals with/am reblogging from someone’s who’s abusive to you then please please please tell me so I can stop doing that
"Hope you get better soon!"
How many times do I have to tell you?!
It. Is. A. Chronic. Condition. It. Wont. Get. Fucking. Better.
Is there a blog like lowspoonsfood for clothes? VERY Basic Clothing 101, how to look like you aren’t a clueless mentally screwy loser internally falling apart all the time?
I’m not that type of blog but…
I tend to stick to certain types of clothing that will match no matter what, like I’d put on a solid-color cami with a button up shirt that I don’t button up at all, or I would put on a nicer t shirt/muscle shirt.
I don’t have variety color-wise. I stick to blues, purples, and blacks (there’s a couple white and grey pieces) which mean they generally all can go together even if I just pick the first thing I see.
I make sure the clothes I pick out are comfortable enough that if needed I can sleep in them. So that if I come back to my room and I’m extremely low on spoons, I don’t have to waste them on changing back to pajamas.
Shoes, I tend to buy on the cheaper side so I don’t feel bad just tucking my feet into.
And when I have some spare money I buy a couple new shirts to replace older ones so that if I don’t have the spoons to do laundry, I still have a small stash of clean clothes to wear.
TL;DR….comfort always comes first. Then having clean clothes on hand. Stick to a range of colors that you’re comfortable in.
Comfortable, clean, within a range of a palette you like.
When you see me show me your bachelors, show me your masters. That’s the best thing you can do for me, as my fan.
YAAAAASS NICKI. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS
i haven’t found the source video yet.
I love the way Nicki encourages people with education. I’ve seen her ask about report cards on Twitter and tell young people to bring their C’s up to B’s and B’s up to A’s. And this quote is too awesome. ❤
HOW IS THIS NOT EVERYWHERE?
Reblogging this good news…again.
y’all know EXACTLY why this isn’t everywhere. don’t pretend to be oblivious
Well let’s spread the word then guys. This kid deserves all the attention.
"Ramarni, what will you do when you grow up?"
